Listed below is some general information for all of our garbage hauling customers. The holiday schedule applies to all customers regardless of what city you live in. The yardwaste collection information only applies to customers in the Champaign-Urbana area.
Holiday Schedule We observe the following holidays:
NEW YEARS DAY LABOR DAY
MEMORIAL DAY THANKSGIVING
JULY 4TH CHRISTMAS DAY
When one of these holidays falls on a:
Weekday
If your pickup day is before the holiday it will remain the same, if it is after the holiday it will be one day late
For instance, Thanksgiving is on Thursday so Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday pickups will all be on the regular days and Thursday and Friday pickups will be one day late.
Weekend
If the holiday falls on Sat. or Sun., your pick-up will remain on your normally scheduled day. For instance, if the 4th of July is on Sunday, everyone's pickup will be on their regularly scheduled day and will not be affected.

Bulk Items or Excessive Amounts
Are subject to additional charges and must be arranged for pickup in advance by calling our office

Yard Waste
Yardwaste was banned from the landfill in the State of Illinois in 1990. It can not be mixed with garbage or you are subject to a fine from the State. We do offer a separate yardwaste collection using a sticker system. Stickers can be purchased from our office and bags will not be picked up if they do not have a yardwaste sticker on them. Stickers cost $3.00 each, there is no minium purchase and they do not expire.
•Place yard clippings in paper yardwaste bag
•Place yardwaste collection sticker on bag
•Call office anytime before 4:00 pm on Wednesday to be placed on the collection list for Thursday
•Place bag or bags at curb by 6:00 am on the scheduled collection day
