Recycling Is Easy
We offer free curbside recycling in Champaign, Savoy & Villa Grove. For all other areas , we provide a public drop off site where you are welcome to drop materials off. (There is no fee to use our drop off site)
We accept only the items listed herefor recycling,
curbside or drop off:
Cardboard #1 -#7 Plastic bottles
Magazines Tin food cans
Newspaper Aluminum cans
Office Paper Aluminum foil/pans
Clear, Green or Brown Glass Bottles
Curbside recycling materials should be cleaned and placed at the curb by 6:00 am on your pick up day. Remember that garbage and recycling are picked up by two separate trucks, so you should not be surprised if one is collected before the other.
If you live in the City of Urbana, you should call the Urbana Public Works regarding the U-Cycle program. Their number is 217-384-2342.
